Claudia & Umberto, are a very stylish Italian couple with two beautiful kids who, together with the couple, have been the main characters of their wedding day.
They got married in the hugest European private Garden inside the ancient walls of a city, Serre Torrigiani.
Lots of kids spread everywhere is the “fil rouge” of this wedding in Florence. About 20 little humans from 0 to 10 bringing joy and.. some chaos too! to the most touching moments.
Since the beginning they were looking to create the opposite of the classic Italian wedding but including everything that makes Italy appreciated all over the world and.. a touch of pink everywhere.
The color palette was clear from the beginning. A blend of pinks ranging from pale touches to pop ups of burgundy for a very romantic décor with a twist: from the bouquet through the aerial setting at dinner until the party bridal dress.
Claudia chose a vintage Ape calessino to reach the Church with her father in Florence old town. Their Catholic ceremony took place at Chiesa dei Santi Apostoli, a small and cozy medieval church in a hidden corner of the city center of Florence.
The wedding reception was held at the enchanting Serre Torrigiani, in the Italian garden and for dinner in the beautiful greenhouse, full of fairy lights and luxuriant plants.
A marching Italian band welcomed Claudia and Umberto at their arrival while a delicious aperitivo was served in the garden. A warm and relaxed atmosphere where all the guests could sit and chat at the tables among topiaries, next to a statue or a small fountain: the perfect setting where to have a glass of wine while the sun goes down and the breeze of the summer evening starts to blow.
The couple decided to dedicate an entire area of the garden to the kids creating a special corner forest-themed made of dining tables fully decorated with colorful animals, teepee tents and white rabbits, which made the whole experience even more fun!
The dinner took place inside the green house. A fairy jungle! All over the place there were plants and above the tables, floated a unique decoration made by fairy lights, flowers and greenery.
Their wedding cake was a classic Italian Millefoglie, presented in the shape of a 3-layered cake with a beautiful flower & fresh fruit décor. A classic with a twist.
For the party Claudia changed her romantic lace wedding dress with a pretty pink micro princess dress that would have been absolutely more comfortable for what she and Umberto were just about to show to their guests: the couple danced The time of my life from the final scene of the cult movie Dirty Dancing. Their first dance was super fun and made clear again that Claudia and Umberto are a true perfect match.
