Lauren & Paul wanted a wedding reception to reflect their personalities: fun and full of colour with a really relaxed vibe.
And so it was: good italian food, vibrant colours, an italian band & lots of wine, were the main ingredients, along with the dramatic architecture of Borgo Stomennano and the gentle landscape of the Tuscan countryside.
Their ceremony was a joyful setting under the secular tree made of scattered multicolor petals, colourful silk ribbons and tea lights in glass jars hanging from the branches and the Dixie band playing the Beatles classic “All you Need is Love” as they kissed and walked back down the aisle.
After enjoying an Aperol Spritz while the sunset was going down on Monteriggioni the band lead them in their marching style to dinner, in the back of the villa.
Under the trees, a fairy curvy infinity table filled with coloured tall candles, Tuscan food followed by not one but FIVE classic Mille Feuille cakes.
And lots of DIY details scattered around the day: from personalised silk robes, to a tiny framed photo of their beloved dog, Sully, that the florist tied onto the stem of Lauren’s bouquet, through custom silk fans and shaped wooden names used as place cards.
This was exactly the kind of atmosphere they were looking for, designed and planned together with me and captured by the great eye of Punti di Bianco.
